Mixed Feelings
This what we wanted Dragonball Kai to look like.

STORY: If you don't what Dragonball is yet, you need to get slapped.
Anyway, this is a remade of an early 1990's OVA that was based on a japanese Nintendo game, however, this remade version's purpose is to introduce its villian, Hachiyacht to those who have pre-ordered the new Dragonball Z Burst Limit 2 game.
Other than that, it's pretty much Dragonball Z in a nutshell.

ANIMATION: To those who have been constantly teased by DBZ Kai's opening animation (I know I have), this OVA also shows off what fans wanted DBZ Kai to look like. New fresh animation, that you can't help to not look away at a DBZ fan's eye candy.
But, personally, it looks weird to me, like something has been messed with that should've been left alone.

SOUND: Now personally, I prefer the english voice cast to japanese one, but to my dismay, I could only find the japanese dub... I will only say this: Goku's japanese voice is down right terrible, he sounds like a 14 teen year old who is about to reach puberty, and I'm sure Goku is atleast in his mid 20's in this OVA.
The background music is pretty much meh.

OVERALL: I said it twice and I'll say again, this is what DBZ Kai should've looked like.
