It starts with Clannad.
I'm about to review my #1 favourite anime and
I am aware of the fact that I am rating Clannad
way to high, but that's what you do when you
watch Clannad (After Story)
Story, 9, Great:
I admit it, Clannad's story isn't anything special.
After all, Clannad is a slice of life anime.
I still remember the first time I have watched it,
it was kinda boring to me, but after
every episode you'll be stuck with this question:
'What will happen next?'
This anime has alot of twists and there may be alot of
people that think some scenes are way to exaggerated
But I have to say, despite the drama-for-nothing, this IS
a feature of Clannad that makes Clannad: Well, Clannad, haha.
Think about it, without the drama: NO FUN.
This anime does have almost everything:
cute girls.. cute guys.. humor.. drama.. love..
None of these things are to much, (exept for the drama)
so that's why all these things together fit so well.
I've watched alot of serious anime that, that despite the sad story,
have alot of humor in it, but the comedy's too much, and
who would take an anime like that serious?
you understand?
Art, 9, Great:
The art is beautiful, it is not PERFECT, like 5 centimeters per second
or something, but it's very nice and fun to look at.
The details in the background are amazing and the colours
are bright and pretty. I love the surroundings and the
feeling you get when you watch the anime, eventhough this is
an anime, I sometimes do get the feeling alot of the things you see
in the background are very detailed and realistic. But thats my opinion.
There is only ONE thing that annoys me, everybody that's a fan
of Key knows every fucking single character in the anime has almost
the same freaking face. Comon, really? ..
Sound, 9, Great:
Oh god, the Key Soundslabel is BEYOND amazing..
I have been listening to the OST almost 2 years now, and
why doesn't it bore me? YOU KNOW WHY!??
Because they are so full of emotion T__T
If you hate anime where the same OST is played 83293 times in one
episode, then don't watch Clannad, haha (Just kidding)
Toki Wo Kizamu Uta, Megumeru, Dango, It's all dreamy, and fits
Clannad perfectly. Nuff said.
Character, 6, Fair:
Alright, let me explain.
The characters are not outstanding. Not original.
Nagisa isn't special, we have seen 789 caring, cute girls out
there in the anime world.
We've seen the typical boys (Tomoya) surrounded by a harem of girls.
We know the stupid, but funny guy (Sunohara) from, for example, Kanon 2006.
The thing is, in Kanon, Air and Clannad, there are the exact same characters, but with an other appearance. It actually does bug me.. lol.
But that's not the problem. I think Tomoyo is kinda nice, but
WHERE DID FUKO, RYOU AND KYOU COME FROM?
Fuko's story was WAY too long, and it wasn't interesting AT ALL.
Ryou and Kyou are just stupid.. (sorry for the fans) but they
just don't fit Clannad, because there isn't REALLY a story
that revolves around them. They just make it difficult..
Despite all the boring characters:
- Kotomi was awesome, I love her. Her story touched me..
- Akio Furukawa is DAMN funny, haha. (definitely my favourite Clannad
character)
Enjoyment, 10, Outstanding:
Yes,yes, eventhough I'm not always positive about Clannad,
this just IS my favourite anime, because I've enjoyed it very much.
The only part I didn't like was Fuko's story, but overall, the drama,
comedy, and art make this anime freakin' awesome to watch.

It's Clannad, guys. Nuff said.

'It's full of all the memories I want to forget about'
If you feel depressed, and want to cry, watch Clannad.
Even the toughest person cries, trust me on this one lol
