You like cheap tears? As with author's previous work, Angel Beats you'll get it. This anime goes rapidly goes towards a sob story ending, pulling a few rapid gut punches with the intent to get a few emotional rises from the viewer. That's about it, if you want a few quick tears you'll get it here.
Objectively, when I first watched it got a rise out of me, however it was just a rise. The shows enjoyment is greatly diminished, were one to back and watch it. That is what I base my reviews upon as such. A good show can be rewatched without losing enjoyment.
