Beck Mongolian Chop Squad is a great anime tv series. Some Kudos definitely go out to Kimagure Orange Director, his direction, accompanied by some great voice acting. The over the top english voice actors and the broken english from the Japanese characters make the voice acting exceptionally better than your average anime. The soundtrack and music are a mere average. But for a show that is about a rock band, there are other aspects like character relationships that carry the story's plot development so it's not just about the music. Throw in some real great displays of real instruments and amps, show is a great look into the life and death of an indie band and their hardship. Overall this show is highly recommended as it features great animation and audio, combined with a character driven story with very few filler episodes.
