It's literally, if not among, the best anime of all time.
Of course, when something's incredibly popular, there will be many pompous people who arrogantly express how the show is overrated, point out ever detail of a show's plotholes and animation problems, but that's to be expected.
With the issues Dragon Ball Z faces, they're all irrelevant and fall short to the impact and success of the series overall.
The story is amazing, the character development is amazing, I actually feel foolish even leaving a review on this. It's just common sense to anyone who's seen the original series before.
Kai's English dub may have harmed Dragon ball Z's reputation, but anyone who's seen the original knows how incredible the show is.
I'm not even personally a fan of this genre of anime, but DBZ is beyond my personal preferences, it being a masterpiece and all.
