As for the story, it seems decent, although it wont explore clearly the main characters intention and their reason to engage in fights from the beggining, which is kind good and bad at the same time, since it creates some environment of mistery while also kind of make hard to relate with them until later on, specifically Levius due to his silent archetype and lack of expression, although such character construction suits his tragic past/trauma.
The opponent characters were ok, but ironically kind falling behind due to the fast progression in their story. Still the characters animation actually seems very lively (taking in consideration it's CGI). Overall, I'd give it 8, because despite a few flaws it have, I'm actually a fan of fighting genre and also due to the fact that this anime made me aware about it source, the manga, which was totally off my radar and I'm glad to learn about that excelent piece of art.
I surely wasn't expecting this show, but I'm glad it came.
Hope for a second season with all the covered aspects upgraded.
