Part 1
-Bland and boring just sets up for the latter half of the season
-Dio is the only thing great about the characters
-Jonathon's only personality trait is being manly
-The story just felt like your villain of the day archetype and was so boring because you knew the final fight was going to be Dio and it just wasn't gratifying
Part 2
-Joseph is a much better protagonist
-The misogyny is SOOOOOOOOO real in this half even with a kick-ass female main character
-Villains and story overall are better
-Humor comes into its own (this is what keeps me watching)
Overall
-The opening theme sequence is very cool, it's all in 3D which is a nice contrast to the series' overall art.
-Outro music is iconic
Jojo is really just buildingon tropes from 80s animes (primarily Dragon Ball Z) with macho characters fighting against progressively stronger villains. It's refreshing from your 'unlikely' hero trope that's been really overdone in recent years. However, the macho archetype does get old quite quickly and makes it harder to watch as the series goes on.
Reccommendations
-Would recommend One Punch Man if you liked this anime, similar character archetypes plus I find One Punch Man funnier than Jojo
