Mixed Feelings
Preliminary (5/? chp)
You know those protagonists that are called "evil", but are actually heroes of justice that never does anything bad? The protagonist here is like that. So the story is like, role-play? He wants to be a bad boy, but he never actually did anything bad. [Sadao-Devil is a Part timer. Akame-Akame ga Kill. Naofumi-Shield Hero] All of these are called evil, non of these does evil things.

Story: The prince doesn't care about his kingdom. He wants to betray the kingdom for the right price, and live an easy life with his woman. Supposedly.
In truth it's a story about a loved-by-everyone prince that saved his country and becomes a hero for his people. I honestly don't know what the main plot-line is yet, the world building is extremely sparse and you are supposed to hate the "mean" neighbor country from chapter one when you don't even like the protagonist's country yet. It's feels forced and shallow.

Long story short. It's predictable and mainstream. A small country with no resources or anything of value becomes feared and respected, how? Human resources, obviously. All of a sudden there are geniuses popping up all over the places, all of which wants to help the protagonist.

Characters: A cool-beauty woman with small tits is physically abusive. A smart-yet-stupid big boobed woman with a cheery attitude. A clingy and super friendly lil' sister with a brother complex. I mean, seriously? Could there be any more overused character types? These characters are plain and boring, there is nothing to make me like them for who they are. They have no depth, which makes it hard to form an emotional connection to any of them. The fact that the protagonist is a "plain looking teenage-boy genius" doesn't exactly help. Even the bad guys are badly made, fat greedy loser or cowards that whisper ideas to someones ear and make weird smiles. How hard is it to create a respectable antagonist?

Art: The art is actually really good. Though maybe that is not too surprising considering two of the color pages consists of a shower scene. "Sex sells." God knows that why I bought the first volume.

Overall, this story have no originality. But it is one of thousands of light novel's that uses the exact same characters, the exact same story and the exact same world, just change the names a little. So obviously there is demand for these types of cheap garbage, I just don't know who would enjoy it. The character's being really bland is not necessarily a bad thing, it's like giving water to someone, not the favorite drink but it's hard to outright hate it. So you go ahead and give this a read, you might like it.
But I honestly can't understand why.

If I had to praise something, it's the fact that the protagonist (being a ruling prince) has a female "servant" that he loves more than anything, calling her his heart. (I know, it's adorable, right!?) So if anyone insults this young woman, the prince uses his power to make that person disappear, permanently. Which is a bit amusing, you know that if someone calls her ugly, it's like "oh snap! He gonna die!" No romance though. Not even a little. But still funny.
