The bgm is vey apt and emotion evoking. The stories are kind of standalone in most episodes but some episodes the larger thread moves ahead. I don't cry easily but I cried for some episodes here. Lots of feels.
I really recommend this anime. Maybe watch it as a stretch. I usually can't do anything but marathon it but because each episode is so fragmented I was able to stretch out watching this anime over months. So maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I did a marathon.
