Well, I'm STILL not sure how I feel about this anime. I don't think I expected to enjoy it as much as I did, even with how uncomfortable it did make me feel at times. The anime covers something that everyone goes through, the birds and the bees, and sexual growth with the maturation of their bodies and minds.

There MAY be minor spoilers past this point, Ill do my best to limit it, but, I think it's important in explaining the inner workings of this anime.

Story: I mean, the story was good. You have five girls, in a literature club, who all start to peak sexually, and express their feelings, and sexual desires for their childhood friend, their creepy ass acting teacher, or, even for one another. The show didn't pull any punches, and while it did make me uncomfortable a couple times, I think, it was the right move, to keep it as real as possible in my opinion.

Art: I LOVED the art in this. The characters weren't drawn in a typical anime fashion, it's hard to explain. I think, the biggest play was on the colors they chose. Skin pigments, the color of their eyes, it just didn't feel typical in any way. On top of that, I didn't find the animation lacking in any way either.

Sound: Another solid OP. Super catchy, and cute. I think the voice acting was super well done in this. There's a lot of emotion with each episode, so, I think it had to be well done, in order to capture the characters feelings so well.

Characters: Man, you have Kazusa and her childhood friend Azumi. You have Hongo, Mo-chin, Sugawara, and Sonozaki. Each with their very own, and peculiar, personalities. They all were interested in the same thing throughout, but, their tactics in trying to understand those feelings, or to attempt to accomplish the deed of ES-EE-EX, were all very different.

Enjoyment: Again, I still don't know how I feel about this. It was enjoyable, but like I said, it had it's moments where I was so uncomfortable that it lost me. Never enough though, that I stopped watching it, so, I think that speaks to the quality of it. I had quiet a few times where I was eager to get to the next episode, because they did do a good job of leaving you wondering or guessing what might come next (no pun intended).

Overall: I give it an 8/10, because, although it had it's moments, it was still a hell of an anime in my books. Anyone interested in romance anime, this is probably worth a watch.
