WHY I LIKED:
⬤ Minimum fan service
⬤ Minimum plot armor
⬤ Drama and Romance
⬤ Geo-catastrophe setting, Harsh environment
⬤ Lots of races with unique traits
⬤ Art style again, more detailed, darker and better this time. Absorbing exterior designs.
⬤ I always like prequels
WHY I DISLIKED:
⬤ The constant talk about the strength of the "heart" of humanity, oh no.. not again...
⬤ The story evolves around 2 or 3 characters the rest are fillers (since its a movie I wouldn't mind this one)
⬤ Romance part was a bit rushed and predictable, at some point Riku went 0-100 too fast to the point of marriage, the movie lost its psychological aspect and became an ordinary dandere romance.
SUMMARY:
Honestly all the dislikes are from Robot-romance haters, Sora/Shiro radicals, CGI spotters and violence-prone teens who complain about lack of fight scenes. Those people are not only straightforward, they became straight-downward with 1/10 ratings.
I wasn't invested in the No Game No Life universe and all of its lore until this movie. In tv show, races were barely introduced and it was all about games and kemonomimi.
The movie didnt manage to pull my heart's strings but it was a really good one. It is worth watching just for visuals and lore, therefore it gets a gigantic [[ 9/10 ]] !!
