The art itself is really well done. There is a lot of gore, a lot of ecchi scenes (which unfortunately were censored from the official online English localization, but are available in print form in some localizations), and the action is spectacular.
The characters are all quite likable, even the antagonists. Unfortunately, many characters are stereotypical personalities, while others are rather unpredictable in a disorienting sense. Often times the logic of the game world is contradictory, a symptom of the author's attempts to increase the power scale for dramatic effect.
All in all, it is a fun read, with memorable characters and but it is not very consistent and has major flaws that may be offputting for some readers.
