I also read the Yakusoku no Neverland manga, and it's awesome. The anime is also awesome. Even though it has 12 episodes and the manga is much bigger, I expect this anime to have a season 2.
It's an outstanding anime, I have faith in this anime( or its upcoming seasons, since there are amazing arcs in the manga ) to reach, at least, the top 10.
The art is great, but I was a bit confused of the style at the beginning, since it was different from any other animes. But I still love it.
The characters are literal cinnamon rolls, I personally want to hug them forever and ever~
The story is in the category of "if humans and animals(in this case, demons) switched places", and in the manga, even one of the characters said "If your favourite food said "Don't eat me" could you just turn away and say "Okay, got it"?". But it's even more than that, the plotline evolves into something amazing. I will try my best to not give any spoilers;
Humans and demons forging a promise beyond "The 7 walls", a human world where demons don't live are a few of the things you can find in the Yakusoku no Neverland world.
The Jailbreak arc (basically this anime that would serve as season 1) is just the beginning of it all. So, the ones that read this review, why don't you join Emma and her family in her dangerous yet thrilling journey?
