The reason I didn't give this a maximum 10/10 is because it would've been nice to see some change in character. This is an extremely heartwarming piece and it definitely tugs on the heartstrings but it's mostly the same shenanigans with Takagi pranking now husband Nishikata as well as their daughter Chi. It's been ten years so I hoped that there would be some development, but it was enjoyable nonetheless. The art is simple and cute as it always has been, and the story is the same slice of life style as the original. Its main purpose seems to be to give the two the happy ending that we all expected to see, although it does feel like you've been blue-balled since you don't get to see the actual developments leading to the milestones (eg when they start dating, or their first kiss, or marriage etc).
