This is one of my favorite romance anime of all times and I am happy i disregarded the rating. If you don't care about Art, Sound or Story and all you care about is the character and mainly ROMANCE, this is 100% for you. This is a no BS anime with misconceptions, 3rd party person who takes over half of the show.... Its literally pure romance. The anime seems low production, maybe some "cringy" things here and there, but like i said, if you are looking for ROMANCE, this is right for you. I have not watched a good romance anime like this in a while. I really hope more people understand and give it a try. I believe this anime is a hit or miss to some people, you either love it or you hate it.
Quick thing on the otaku. I almost didn't watch this because of the otaku stuff.... but I did anyways because I am in need for new animes to watch since I watch so much anime. The character is good.... why? Because they are no blind or anything. The Otaku MC isn't some dumb unrealistic MC from my eyes. And the chick is the same. Her personality and everything is unique and awesome to watch and cute. I myself don't understand or truely know what an otaku is, even though all I do is play games and go to school, but if boobs are in front of my face, I would get em. Most animes that haves these "otakus" completely ignore the boobs and are like 70% not interested in romance. But this anime is different which is why it is is good. The MC actually develops.
Also, there are very few animes out there that are quick date into just development.
So give it a try if your into purely romance. I have watched this 5+ hours straight yesterday... and this is one of the few animes especially in the drama/romance animes that I did not get bored watching. Don't be deceived by the rating the anime currently has. I give it a 10/10 not because to boost the rating, but for the romance genre, it is a 10/10.
