Oh. Resident Evil on anime! Yay! Bzzzt! Yes it’s same but HOTD sucked big time. It’s nearly ending and there is nothing special happening! Character background lacks further more this is a suspense anime not HAREM!!! HOTD only does fan service + boy and girl alone for almost 2 episodes.
Art: 9/10
It’s well drawn. I have nothing against on the art when it comes to HOTD. For me this anime has the greatest art on summer anime lineup. The characters are well drawn and of course the zombies
Sound: 8/10
The opening really rocks. I’m listening to it when I was writing this review. The seiyuu also fits the characteristic of the character it’s near perfect if only the male protagonist wasn’t shouting a lot.
Characters: 4/10
There is no development overall. When you’re watching this you will only see this factor. Boy accepts who or what the girl whose with him whether it’s a bad or a good personality. There is nothing happening when boy + girl is stuck to a certain area. They are not even maturing.
Enjoyment: 6/10
I did enjoy some fan service scenes panties showing at the right time. But nothing follows.

Instead of wasting your bandwidth and time for this anime go download/watch hentai instead. This is one of the “wasted” anime on summer line up this year, it has a great impression at episode 1 and got good music/bgm and the art was best but after episode 5 nothing more. It’s up to you if you want to watch a fan service suspense anime that nothing happens.
