Part 4 is the most enjoyable, crazy, stylish, brash and well JoJo's part animated thus far (part 5 airing at the time of this review). It takes the concepts of stands that we saw in part 3 and added so much insanity to it. The crazy thing about this conglomeration of insane powers is none of them feel overpowered or under powered. Each villain the boys encounter and each of the series protagonist gets both chances to shine and chances to prove themselves. While part 3 may have had some interesting concepts for how fights go it doesn't hold a candle to some of the way fights play out in Diamond in Unbreakable. That was one of my favorite parts of this season was the amount of times our heroes got into fights either at a complete disadvantage or way out of their comfort zone. This creates great moments of creativity and ingenuity in each of the fights. That's the beauty of this part, niche powers in situation where either they can thrive or prove their worth in an underdog scenario.

Instead of the typical approach to shounen series were during of random ass-pull power ups, Jojo's fights tend to play like more like a puzzle. Due to the nature of unique and niche powers the story looks to constantly put the Jobro's out of their comfort zone to showcase how quick witted and resourceful our heroes are. We notice small cracks in the armour of opponents or understand how the power works and how to effectively turn the tables.

One of the major parts that part 3 felt like it was missing was more of a cohesive world. Granted that world was well, our world at the time the events of stardust crusaders. The world of Morioh feels incredibly lively. Major events and minor fights usually leave behind some sort of "landmark" for the eye catcher. These typically giving some background of the area the event or fight adding to the overall town of Morioh. But it's not just the set pieces that add to the overall charm of Morioh. Instead of the usual formula of front loading our main cast and having very little change in that cast we have a smaller main cast and a larger set of recurring characters. These characters were all usually minor villains turned friend by the Jobro's. In turn most of the recruited side characters help out the main cast in some of the more important fights. This approach helps with the slow, small town vibes Morioh gives off with constantly running into familiar faces and friends just going about your business.

The only complaint I would have is there wasn't a major goal of the plot at the beginning and didn't have much focus there. But I don't really mind cause as it was trying to find its story we got some really fun and exciting episodes. This creates this near peaceful feeling to the town of Morioh. Making the juxtaposition of our primary villain all the more scary rears their head. Best part animated so far and I'm excited to see if the next parts are able to live up to part 4.
