Moving on to the anime, Cardcaptor Sakura is a girl who found a magical book that there, lived/guarded a protector called keroberos who claimed that he was guarding cards sealed by a sorcerer who was all powerful. The cards were filled with magic of all kinds " water, wind, fire, earth, tree, rain, dark, light etc..' and was supposed to be sealed. Unknowing that all the cards have been dissappeared except for one, he assigned the girl 'Sakura' to get them all back before a tremor would happen. As the story goes, along with her friend Tomoyo, she meets a boy who was to collect the cards as well, followed by his 'fiance'. Story goes furthermore to the end after collecting all the 'Clow cards' . Another battle was to occur, from an enchanting boy, who claimes to be the rebirth of Clow, who had no motive in defeating them, was to only test their strength and for Sakura to change the 'Clow cards to Sakura cards', also for him to know that she is able to take care of the cards. 'Defeated' they retreated to england and finally the story was finished with words Sakura did not expect from Li, Syaoran saying that he is inlove with her, it was cut and put to end with him also leaving Japan to go back to Hongkong in which the movie' The sealed card' continous the love story.
Now, my review, the story wasnt short but it was sweet. The ending though, was cut, but it made you want more. The love of Syaoran to sakura, was getting obvious in the 2nd season, so you would expect that he would say 'I love you' anymore sooner, but the awaiting momment for the reply was pushed to the second movie, so it was kinda uptight. The story in which the friendship grew more and trust was leveled up and choices had to be taken were all worth while. The charcaters have good parts in which your heart would suddenly burst with excitement through love or laughter in such a way you'd smile with enjoyment.The art i would care for, was expected to be fine, especially that it was made in 1996, you wouldnt expect something like Final Fantasy VII or so in that time, so basically it was greatly drawn, especially in times of battle. The anime, is a classic favorite of all, its not no.1 but if we were back then it wouldve topped the charts. i wouldnt know though, since i wasnt born til '97 but the enjoyment would last for more years to come.
