It stinks, overall this series stinks. The plot is awful - using an obscure grand ideal like 'world peace' as a reason for a mass experiment which violates people without their consent and everyone in the series goes along with it, convinced. But more than that the series is so focused on character archetypes that comply with the plots endgame it neglects to make the characters seem realistic as people at all i.e. all the random love connections and how they're dealt with, so as a viewer I felt a complete disconnect to them. It had some interesting ideas, great art and sound but for me this and the flawed childish idealism at its core made it a bit unbearable.
