This is not an explicit review. I want to get my point out as quickly as possible.
The title can only be understood after watching the movie so don't mix up the genre! That being said lets move on.

This movie has been very faithful to its original novel source. Having experienced both the live-action and manga counterparts i would definitely chose the anime movie as the strongest adaptation.
Being bound to time constraints as it is for many anime shows, it has managed to add some new anime only scenes which i thought were better than the original source.

The art style is really well thought of making the characters look more mature compared to the manga. This is important for a show such as this. The music and osts was exceptionally mesmorising. It blended well into the tone of the movie thus making the audience more in sync with the plot development. What more to say?

Excluding some bland ghost characters I think the two main characters were really intresting as a lot of people can relate to them. Even if the movie shows you the outcome of a character at the very start, it manages to change the 'meh' impression into a 'mwaaaahhh' impression. This dynamic change through simple yet engaging plot and character development is the magic of the show.

Overall this is my favorite anime movie which exceeded other movies like 'Your Name' and 'A silent voice'. The life lessons you learn and the fight against imminent death has really given me a new angle of perspective. 10/10

P.S. It is a very sad story so please keep a box of tissues.
