The first few episodes (there are 12 in total) are kind of confusing and fairly average but it soon turns into this compelling, angsty, romantic, beautiful mess. There are really two stories -- a messy love triangle in which it's rather hard to pick sides, and a bittersweet romance experienced by a girl whose memory only lasts thirteen hours (a result of a childhood accident). The two stories are linked by the fact that two of the characters are twin sisters but there is no real interaction between them and the two stories are very much separate. The art is beautifully unique and expressive as you can see in this five minute prologue (in which you can also see that the music is amazing)
