Rascal does not dream of a Bunny Girl Senpai or lets just call it "Bunny girl" because I am not going to use that long name over and over again.

First of all, if you are actually going to watch this show because of it's name, I hate to break it to you but this show has nothing to do with bunny girls. Its a bait. Yep! The writer baited you into watching something thats probably the anime of the year(atleast for me).

Story: 9/10
The plot is actually pretty simple. A cheeky protagonist, Sakuta Asusagawa, helping out different girls in their problems. Problems known as Puberty syndrome. Now puberty syndrome itself means, "Abnormal experiences rumored on the internet to be caused by sensitivity and instability during adolescence".
I really loved how they brought in different life problems that almost every teenager faces in this world. Problems varying from bullying to self harm and even changing yourself just for the sake of others to going through stress and depression. Teenagers go through so much in the school days and this show actually takes that concept and turns it into a supernatural-Quantum physics related story to make things interesting. Now I know what you might be thinking, "A guy helping out girls who are going through supernatural phenomenas? What is this? A new season for Monogatari?". Well to be honest yeah it does copy a little bit from Monogatari and a bit from Haruhi Suzumiya and from Oregairu as well. The best part is the writer took all these ideas and made something amazing which is not a trainwreck. The story itself is quite enjoyable and all those Quantum Physics/Mechanics refrences(dont worry business students, they actually explain those references) made it even great.
In the end Sakuta just has to find all the solutions to the problems and the syndromes that his friends, sister and girlfriend is facing in order to live a peaceful life. One wrong move could cost him something big.

Animation: 7/10
The animation was actually pretty good in the start but it went downhill once the show started to bloom. Now I dont blame cloverworks for this because they decided to raise the budget of the movie(Sequel to this show) and dropped the budget of the show itself. It was a pretty good move to ensure that the movie turns out to be great because it contains the best arcs of the novels. Though I still dropped the ratings because I am sucker for animation and artstyle and it started to lack in the end and you can even notice how strange the facial expressions of the characters started to be. But alot of people will not mind this because the main focus of this show is on the story.

Music: 8/10
The opening and the endings both are freaking gold. No, they are PLATINUM GOLD(A monogatari reference). I don't think I have even skipped both the op and ed once. The best thing about the openings and endings were that the Voice Actresses used to sing the op and ed of their respective arcs. I have no idea if there is much background music in this show, even if there is, its not noticeable.

Characters: 8.5/10 (Bit of a spoiler)
*Sakuta Asusagawa: The main male lead of Bunny girl and the rascal which the name of the show suggests. The whole story revolves around him and there is not much screen time for other characters apart from their respective arcs and apart from our bunny girl senpai. Sakuta for me was a cheeky guy but he is a normal guy, a student just like all of us. There is a limit to how much a person can take and even Sakuta had his limits and in the end he did bursted out. He helped out all his friends when they were going through the puberty syndrome and I wish I had a friend like him in real life. Sakuta is probably the male of the year for me.
*Sakurajima Mai: The main female lead of the show and our very own Bunny girl senpai which the name of the show suggests. Guess the name is not a bait after all huh? No, it is. Mai is tsundere character that alot of people compare to Senjougahara from monogatari but she isn't even close to Senjougahara. The character designer was the same as Oregairu due to which people even compare her with Yukinon but again Mai senpai is fire while Yukinon was ice, they are so different. The only screentime she gets after her arc is all the romantic situations which the writer created.
*Other Characters: All the other characters were briefly explained in their respective arc and we got to know alot about them due to their puberty syndrome. But every character had a little screen time once their arc ended which is why I'm not going indepth about the side characters.

Enjoyment: 9/10
Now this show, even though I know it might seem to be a rip off of some of my favourite shows, it was still written by the author from one of my favorite show, "The pet girl of sakurasou". Personally I enjoyed this show alot. I enjoyed the heck out of it because how you could relate to some of the things in reality. It was just awe-inspiring.

Personal statement:
Cyber bullying, self harm, dual personality, stress and depression now that is something that alot of writer dont even try to talk about. The show couldn't have been better for me as it was perfect just the way it is. An astounding protagonist with a tough life and teaching us all about how you should never give up. There is always a solution, doesn't matter how much time it takes, find the solution and solve the problem. At times you may feel down but you should always get back up and fix yourself because there are other people who need you. I can't wait for the movie and I am super hyped about it.

I'll give it an overall rating of 9/10.
