Black Butler is about a 12 year old boy who makes a deal with a demon. He will trade his soul and allow the demon to kill him, in exchange for the demon helping him carry out his revenge on the people who killed his parents when he was 10.The boy's name is Ciel Phantomhive, and the demon becomes his personal butler, Sebastian Michaelis. Sebastian has supernatural powers ranging from making the perfect cup of tea to rescuing his master from dangerous situations. Ciel and Sebastian entered into a contract where Sebastian will do anything that Ciel orders him to do, until Sebastian gets his soul. This can cause some hilarious incidents, like when Ciel orders his butler to complete impossible assignments. More major characters enter; his Aunt, his fiance, an array of friends, and Ciel's 3 incompetent house servants among others. The servants are hilarious because poor Sebastian always has to fix their mistakes.
It's a really good show and I highly recommend it. I have started watching the second season which is on-air, and this series is defiantly one of my favorites. It has humor, horror, mystery, supernatural, along with some very good and well thought out plot twists. The story also doesn't leave too many holes, and the ones it does, are being answered in season 2.
