The premise of the show is a dime a dozen utterly forgettable plot, the porno equivalent of a handyman turning up on a helpless house wife's doorstep. It exists solely to drive the service of the show and is not realistic in the slightest. That being said, the show rather wisely chooses not to take itself seriously and even incorporates a meta in this respect which serves to "lamp shade" (a literary device used to bring attention to an issue or flaw and poke fun at it to acknowledge it and lesson its dissonance affect), raising its entertainment quality value above that of the average harem. To clarify, one of the issues many harem shows have is that they rely solely on the service to sell its content and so the suspension of disbelief is unfortunately often loose at best because of a lack of effort in other areas like writing. This show whilst not putting in a *lot* of effort at least is written relatively intelligently.

Harems are unfortunately what i consider to be entry level "anime" projects, easily exploited as a genre by either up and coming studios to make something that will easily sell and provide a footing for something more ambitious or just lazy studios with no ambition beyond making an easy buck. The result is that often the show's quality will be sub-par. As far as this show is concerned its art is actually not bad, in fact the background art is particularly passable, the animation itself is also respectable and the characters themselves quite pleasant in design.

Whilst the character designs are cookie cutter archetypes you've seen a thousand times before, the voice acting and (relatively) clever writing really brings them to life in a way you wont see in other shows of this type. You might even find yourself relating to one of them. This added to the overall enjoyment.

Harems are a guilty pleasure of mine, but i do like to think that i also have taste. I come from a creative background and so quality is still important to me. In this respect, as a harem watcher, this show will always be better than the sum of its parts because the important points come from its service and this show does provide a good and honest tease. Hence enjoyment will score better than the combination of the other criteria would suggest and i think this will be true for many people who consume this kind of content. But it's worth noting that the other areas don't suffer as much as they have been known to for this genre so in short, i would recommend this show to someone who consumes this kind of content, but perhaps not to someone who likes anime as a media in general and expect a bit more than panty shots and generally appealing to sexual fantasy.
