Mixed Feelings
Great artwork, beautiful sceneries of a traditional japanese hotel, intense contrasting personalities which come in contradiction with each other.

At first, my interest was quite intrigued and had high expectations.
I didn't like Ohana as a person because she was making decisions with no specific reason in mind- just because. I could see her persistence and stubborness but no passion, because she started something that wasn't her dream but she made into that on the way because life brought it like this.

Somewhere in the middle, the series losts it's path, and personally, I couldn't understand for which reason there were 26 episodes, while the plot could be developed in just 12.
Not because it wasn't good - on the contrary. Because the characters were so well made, that is was clear what they wanted and what development their personalities could have during the plot unraveling.

I believe that some of the events that happened, were extra, because everyone had the resolve and didn't need an excuse to act the way they did.

The only development that moved me - which was expected from the first episode and that was what I was waiting for- was the relationship between daughter - mother- grandmother. It was really sweet and made my heart melt <3

I had a hard time finishing the anime because there was no clear path it was walking on, and got me bored. It started great but got mediocre till the end.
