That short illustrated manga is so perfect, i don't think i want much more from anything else. Thank you Yoshitoshi Abe for this small gift from the truly realistic picture of a unrealistic reality that only a few select have and understand. This short sequence to the show just makes an amazing small memory that can remind you of the whole 13 episodes.
The simple sketches of a girl in a room talking about something beyond any world, and remaking that into a dream, gives you the sensation of forgetting what reality even is. It gives you the power to portray anything and truly reach any goal within your mind. I love Lain for what she is and this short story portrays that perfectly.
