The show is alright. It's nothing ground breaking but definitely better than most of the "fantasy" stuff that comes out nowadays. Lots of people seem to not like the lack of a proper plot, but me personally i appreciate this kind of no-nonsense just bare-bones action show every now and then.

I don't really get why so many people are butt hurt about this one. I guess a lot of folks didn't like the scene where he kills the goblin kids or whatever. Maybe they jumped into this one thinking it was going to be another one of those super creative tales about a school boy who somehow travels to another world and discovers he has strange powers and he's going to use them to fight for justice and righteousness. Well, this ain't that, this is more like Berserk and a pretty average light novel had a baby.
