It`s animation is far surperior to any show from 2005, and its prior seasons.
Rigth now i am having some heavy anime hangovers, but that is probably just me, because i experience some nostalgia watching this serie again. However i am still amazed of how good its story is, and even through i am one of does guys who DO NOT LIKE MECHA ANIME I STILL LOVE THIS SHOW.
One of the reason for my love of the Full Metal Panic Franchies, can be that its one of the few anime`s out there, with a very strong female lead, even compared to today. I can`t think of a show with a female lead, as unique as Kaname Chidori from this show. On the other site we have Tessa, Sosukes captain, that have to take extreamly hard desition, and put her own situation aside, to support our main characters, even though it is emotional hard for her.
This season is alot more action packed than season 1, and it tells a far better story, and expants the universe just like a good sequel should do. At the same times it keeps its humor high, while still stepping into some emotional territory and it is doing it got damn good. I would say that my enjoyment of this was outstanding, compared to the first season, and one of the reason may be that it was some good and packed 13 episodes i was provided with.
I am in such love with the Characters that i have to give it 10/10, i don`t know if its nostalgia that let me think so high of this serie, but it just hits me like a wrecking ball.
