In most stories, Humans are weak and the Demons are bloodthirsty. In this story, Humans have massive armies, while the "Demons" are just other races that wanted to be left alone.

Story: So this story starts in the middle of a war, following Vice Commander Veight, a werewolf mage of the Demon Lords army. You won't get that typical detailed world building beginning, the Main Character won't unite all the demon races and build a nation. The Demon King already did that. It's just about a werewolf soldier trying to help his people to win a war for survival. You're just gonna have to learn as the story goes on.

At first it's a bit hard to get into the story, since it's already so developed from chapter one. But that also means we won't need the extremely slow build-up phase. Many stories try to show how a weak loser protagonist becomes a hero. This is not one of those stories. I like it. A fairly fast progression makes sure that the story remains interesting, but they are not exaggerating by having one person build a country. This story starts in a war, the protagonist is a soldier fighting for his people. That's all you need to know.

Art: The art lacks details, backgrounds are practically non-existent, and there are no names next to characters on the color pages, making it hard to know who's who. (>_<) Of course, light novels barely have any illustrations, so it doesn't matter.

Characters: This was really freaking well done. The characters all feel alive, no exaggerated tsundere or shit like that. The personalities are realistic and likable, yet having those sad, disgusting sides that show up in war. Veight is a neutral main character, being not good nor evil. He doesn't want to kill, he does it when it's necessary. Along with many other supporting characters, there's not been anyone I have outright disliked.

Overall, seeing the Main Character fighting a war, conquering cities and then making demons and humans to live together. While handling situations of allies being defeated and slowly gaining new ones, this is one hell of a story. It's like "Saga of Tanya the Evil." Who is also just a soldier in the army, doing whatever she can.

+ Likable Characters
+ Steady Story Progression
+ No Good or Evil.
+- MC is a reincarnated person, but it's barely brought up in the story
- Art is below average

I really enjoyed this story. But in the end it's up to y'all to decide for yourself. Fantasy military situations, everything from skirmishes to sieges to ruling is what this light novel is about. No one-man armies, just a typical warfare story.

PS: Each volume is just one chapter that goes on for a few hundred pages. (plus one side-story) It's surprisingly annoying. Because if you like reading before going to bed, "just one more chapter" would mean reading like 250pages.
