Nine and Twelve are no more than walking stereotypes. One is the typicial silent and smart guy, while the other is the energetic and unconcerned shonen protagonist we all know. No development or introspection,they always remain the same. Their motivations? their past? the series doesn´t care, alll we got are short flashbacks here and there.
Oh, and I forgot about the girl. Well, she´s the anime equivalent to Bella of Twilight. At the end the only relevance that she end having actually is to be the damsel in distress.
The only actually enjoyable parts about this mess were the OST and the pretty animated explosions.
