This manga is a very interesting read! The story is a bit more angsty than your typical yaoi. It includes sensitive topics such as bullying, suicide, and homophobia. Yet everything is tactfully handled, and the plot and characters feel compelling.

The main character, Hayato, is haunted by mistakes of the past. He befriends Souma, the quiet transfer student who is always alone. Souma is afraid of interacting with others because he doesn’t want anyone to find out that he’s gay. He is able to open up more when Hayato accepts him.

However, Hayato has a dark secret of his own. He is consumed with regret over something that happened in the past, and he sees the specter of a former classmate in Souma. To him, Souma is a second chance at making things right.
