Monster is an art piece. Art is something that creates conversation, and many different people see different meanings, depending on their life experiences. This is what Monster is. After watching the last episode, I felt empty. I hated that it was an "open ending" in a way. But after a few minutes, I loved it more for that reason. These kind of endings create conversation. So in the end, yes, Monster was worth it.
