Story 7/10: So.. The story is completely based on romance, there's nothing else that comes into it.. No action, no sci-fi, no thriller, no horror.. Nothing at all and I can see why.. I'm guessing the anime was made for teen girls who love romance and to be honest.. I absolutely enjoyed the hell out of it! I'm a guy who loves romance, I'll pretty much only watch an anime if it had romance in it and you'll be able to see that from my completed anime reviews. I don't normally come across anime that are just completely about romance and to see a 24 episode long anime do so well and pack so much stuff into it made it so much more enjoyable. Obviously there are thing that I disliked and these are a few.. Ok so the ending is completely rushed, it's like BOOM he suddenly drops the girl and gets with another, I completely hated this from a realistic point of view! It would of been nice to see them go on a date and gradually build the way up but at last we did not get that sort of it. It would of been to see a OVA or a few special episodes from this but oh well.. The story is boring to be honest though, it drags out at some points and has no heart pounding scenes where you go "Damn that was amazing! That really my adrenaline rush!" It's a sweet and innocent romance story that will leave all the teen girls crying for something like this..
Art 7/10: I enjoyed this type of animation, it's pretty good and sort of have a more realistic type of style to it rather than ones like Clannad that have massive eyes and stuff... Overall really nice colors along with moments where it's happy and sad it really made it feel so much better and made it reel me in so much more!
Sound 6/10: I don't really care much for sound in anime but I tried to listen alot more in this one, I never really realized how much anime's are a-like when I did this. I realized every happy/sad moment is covered with a piano or violin music track and so on and it was overall.. Kind of boring?..
Characters 6/10: I didn't hate nor love the characters, they were kind of boring and nothing really stood out so much to me where I really enjoyed a specific character. It would of been nice to get to know the characters alot better for a 24 episode series that could go alot more into background and add some dark stuff to their pasts! Supporting characters are along the same and never really stood out.
Overall: It was a good watch and would recommend to those types of people who really enjoy romance anime and are looking for a sweet, innocent and happy ending series that will melt teen's hearts!
