They crammed a lot of manga into four short episodes, important scenes were left out and it would have been better to have a complete 12/13 episode season. Overall I they did the best they could with such a small amount of episodes. Though I really wish they had included the scene where Kaizaki finds out he passed the college entrance exam. That scene was really beautiful and sweet, very poignant.
It was nice to experience some of the important scenes in anime form, with music in the background and the characters' voices it brought many scenes to life

Read the manga it has a lot more development and closure!
