This anime is completely annoyed me as a gamer, not as an otaku.
First, the whole game about GGO : yeah, you're reading it right. GGO is complete bullshit game with shitty mechanic that as an ex-professional fps player is really annoyed me. Its okay to say that Shooter game can have a MMORPG aura that you can fight an monster to get a drop, yea its cool. But what annoys me the most is maybe stats effectiveness. Like strengths is stronger than any other stats and Agility is worthless to upgrade, its like an unbalanced FUCKIN GAME! i'm pretty sure that the writer never play a competitive shooter game.
Secondly, the in-game role bullshit :
The other thing that annoyed me too is the fact that Sinon is the ONLY SNIPER IN THE GAME(according to the story that is). If you play fps games like Battlefield or CSGO, sniper role is very popular and very strong. The reasoning that in GGO sniper doesn't seen very commonly is because the sniper role is very hard to master. Do the writer even know that EVERY PRO GAMER that really wanted to become the best player ALWAYS USE STRONGER METHODS OR ROLE, they don't even care about how hard to master a single role that stronger than any other roles. AND THEY CALLED THAT GGO IS THE ONLY GAME THAT PROS PLAY? ITS BETTER BE CALLED THAT GGO IS ONLY GAME THAT CRYBABIES SELF-CLAIMED "PRO-GAMER" PLAY.
Third, back to Alfheim. but who really cares about the 2nd and the 3rd Arc of this 2nd season of SAO, all of them probably rewatch the GGO to enjoy the shit logic of shooter game or open their eyes and moving to an better anime with same style of the game but with great character design and story
