I originally read the manga first. Finally got around to reading the Light Novel. I'd say from what little is available of the Manga i'd say that the Manga is the better version.
The pacing in this isn't great. I believe the first 20 chapters go by really fast with what's happening.
We also get impressions in the manga and the start of the LN that Lecia ( The Dragon ) is more of a ditz character. But in this she rarely talks and acts more shy then anything. I feel that she should either be a Ditz or a Tsundere
Things like the MC's daughters i find kind of weird. From what i gathered they are actually around 50 years old but have the appearance of a 9 year old. So scenes where the MC acts like they are still kids is kind of weird and when they act like little kids.
Also i find the idea of them only being born because of the MC killing slimes to make little sense. It would be a lot more interesting if it was the result of the MC's mana being so strong that it leaks out and the children were made.
In the manga we also have a real homey feel so far. In this with how many people are suddenly brought into the story, It starts to lose that feel
Overall it's still a good read, It's just i find the manga to be better so far.
