While this is just for Ajin s2, my opinions of Ajin overall apply here.

From the beginning, I was intrigued by it right away. The entire idea of it was very interesting to me. All the characters were likable for me (well, maybe except for Sato; the guy frustrated me to no end! Though I'm sure that's what he was supposed to do) and I was interested in what would happen to all of them. Kei, Kai, and Kou were the ones that interested me the most.

I was one of the people who wasn't turned off by the CGI Ajin provided. That said, I still rated the art an 8. It was good, but it wasn't anything that was especially fancy. I just believe that the CGI is definitely not a reason to dislike this anime especially with the story it provides.

The story is loosely about civil rights, war, and terrorism and I think that's made quite clear in every moment of Ajin. Sato is a terrorist that drove me to confusion at how he knew every outcome of their plans and how he was never fazed by anything even until the very end. It made the feelings of frustration very real on my end too.

Overall, I definitely recommend Ajin to anyone who may be intrigued by it or hear about it from someone else. It was 100% a show I enjoyed from moment to end.
