STORY
So there was a single plot line throughout the series, brothers Edward and Alphonse (or, Al) wanted to ressurect their dead mother and instead lost parts of their bodies- Ed, leg and Al, his whole body. Edward sacrificed an arm to trap Al's body into a piece of armour. However, these boys are on a quest to find the philosophers stone- a stone made with alchemy which could give the boys back their old forms.
There are many different scenes and characters which thicken the plot and make the anime a most enjoyable- must watch motion picture!
ART
Done to ultimate perfection- so beautiful and all the characters have the same amount of care to make them all lovely in their own respects.
SOUND
Okay, so this is where some disagreements, I watched the series in English and loved it however, the reason I haven't progressed to the next series and film is because I personally do not like this series in Japanese (contary to adoring most anime in their language). Other than that, the music, sound affects and timing is all perfect and I never once found a stream where the voices were out of sync with the characters' moving mouths.
