This took a very interesting take to show some of the events of Frozen Teardrop. It is stills with sound and dialogue recorded over them with some minimal animation thrown in. I actually enjoyed the way it was presented even though at times it was sort of hard to follow. The original cast even returns for their voice overs

Part of me wants to believe that this was an attempt at testing the waters for a full length anime series. However, for one reason or another, unfortunately didn't pan out and thus they bundled it with the Gundam Wing Blu-rays for those who wanted to see it. Perhaps one day we will be given the full length Frozen Teardrop anime we'd like to see but only time will tell.

Still a good watch even though it very much leaves you wanting so much more from it.
