Interesting symbolism for empathy, although a bit gross at first to be honest but you kinda get used to it. Each episode felt pretty unique/quirky, mysterious, and even suspenseful at times. I found it quite refreshing amongst a backdrop of many other overly clichéd romances out there. Although, it could be better if the characters were a bit older and perhaps more atmospheric music was woven into the background. The tension between the characters doesn't really need to be held up by any more music to be as wonderful as it is though. It definitely earns its R rating though considering some scenes but it seems to almost have fun/jokes with itself in the process so it's quite entertaining.
