To be honest, I don't know that was interested in the story so much as I was interested in the characters, but that was enough to have me hooked. I finished this in two days and I'm so happy I had the time to sit down and binge it all because it was amazing.
Of course, as you can see, I didn't give this a 10/10 merely because the story wasn't as fleshed out as I would've liked it to be. It seemed like there was a lot missing from the history of the Grail Wars and the Servants that would've brought a lot to the story. That being said, I haven't read Fate/stay night nor have I seen the rest of the animated works at this time, so that may be why I was slightly dissatisfied with the lack of story detail in this anime alone.
Anyway, I absolutely loved the story between Saber and Shirou. Their interactions were so rich, and I always enjoyed watching them together.
Overall, not a perfect anime, but I don't think it deserves the lashing it gets from certain Fate/stay night fans.
