The characters all have distinct and different personalities and its exciting to watch the interactions the different masters and servants have with each other. They all have their reasons for fighting and that makes it hard to root for your personal favorite when they have to in this war, but when they do its exciting and heartpounding to watch. The animation is great and in the fight scenes is where it really stands out. As the character designs and fight choreography and beautiful display here. For as of now I am watching the english dub of the series and the cast is great, you have some veteran actors doing great performances all around, this is a great dub cast and they are doing an excellent job.
So with me talking about so much good stuff about this anime, there is something I do not like about the series, and to me its music. Now don't get me wrong the soundtrack is not bad it fits well with the anime, for when there is the quiet talking scenes between two characters or when the action scenes happen when they supply that bombastic display destruction and tension. It's fine for being in the background and setting the atmosphere but it just doesn't have a track that stands out or is memorable to me personally.
Fate/Zero is a good entry point, I think for anyone who wants to finally start to get into the Fate series. It's for the fan who loves good drama, fantasy and action in your anime.
