From heart-warming to heart-wrenching, Erased (as I will call it throughout this review) was a roller-coaster of an Anime for me. It had its ups and downs throughout the series, there were bits which I thought were amazing and bits which I thought were pretty terrible.
I had pretty high expectations going into this Anime, which is a shame because if I had no expectations for it I think I would've enjoyed it a lot more. Now, by no means am I saying that Erased was a bad Anime, in fact it was great. Just somethings weren't right for the series.
Amongst all of the things I heard about Erased before watching it, the most common opinion was that the ending was absolutely horrific, whereas the rest of the series was amazing. So naturally, that's what I was told it would be.
In my opinion, the main story was fantastic but not as amazing as I was told it would be, whereas the ending wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. Now, don't get me wrong, it definitely wasn't the ending it deserved and I was a bit confused as to how most of the ending actually fell into place, but it wasn't as big as a disappointment as I expected.
A bit of a confusing review, I know. But thank you for reading. ♥
