I remembered the first time I watched this anime was with my father because he said he wanted to see how is anime like and how I see the world with it. With that, I bought two tickets of Koe no Katachi's first day release show at the best seat in the house and until now, I am never feel regret to make my father watch this as he said he like the simple yet very able to relate to the real world story. And it was a year ago, yet I still find this anime touching and enjoyable.

This anime is (almost) perfect. Proving that Kyoto Animation could do anything from cute girls doing cute things to crying girls making us crying. As my father said before, it was simple yet very relatable to nowadays problem and that is a suicidal desire induced by stress and disability. How they package this story is great with a desire to fix everything that had been destroyed and trying to rise from the fall. It gave me thrills watching how those two main characters trying their best not to fall into the same pit that even had been dug by someone else. This movie successfully brought the audience to feel what the main characters feeling.

The soundtrack of this anime is really outstanding. They made us pictures the feeling of the characters with the music's building from quiet noises into massive thing. The quiet music in the intro really fits and it felt like picturing the situation of that moment and that is a Silent Voice. It pictured the Main Character's desire to not listen to anyone and just take it as a Silent Voice. Then we got a classic song by The Who, My Generation, to fit the description of kids on that generation who love to do dares and play games. Yet, I love how the music played in the end of this movie when the Main Character started a resolution to listen to everyone. The ascending volume from the quiet ones really supports the feeling behind what the Main Character's thought. If not the story made me cry, the soundtrack would.

As expected from Kyoto Animation, the animation is very marvelous. It was very beautiful and showcasing what Kyoto Animation have done and progressed these years. Beautiful water animation adapted from Free!, cute girls animation adapted from the recent Hibike! Euphonium, and fluid animations from every musical sequences that Kyoto Animation had pulled. It almost made me cry from how the animation was very beautiful.

I enjoy this movie so much and this movie enters my list of "I don't regret to watch this movie at the first day" list and my favorite anime list. I would give this movie a solid 10 as this movie simply, almost perfect.
