This is the first review I have ever written for an anime, but it comes without saying this anime movie was one of my favorites. As for all the anime movies I have seen there haven't been that many, I usually stick to Miyazaki movies but I was quite surprised with Summer Wars, it gave a great story and awesome animation. The animation was on a whole different level, I loved it, it was new and a work of art. I watched this movie with my family and it was a great hit, we definitely did not fall asleep like other movies that aren't animated. The characters were great, but kind of stereotypical, but nothing against that. The main family was splendid, they had every different kind of character. To all that want to watch this movie, I recommend it, it brought out the best of an anime movie without making it the stereotypical boring story, if your looking for a movie to watch on a saturday night and you have nothing else to watch, definitely watch this one. I loved this one for the animation, the story and how not boring it was! :3 All in all it was a splendid watch.
