This anime requires investment beyond the first 3 episodes to begin to appreciate. Many have claimed it as being boring, and a slow starter, but far from that I would argue that even the initial stoicness of the mc's is interesting if you are willing to put any thought into their potential motivations.

Those comparing it to Charlotte just came into the show with fundamentally incongruent expectations; its not a surprise that they didn't try and search for the depth that is hidden.

Overall the pacing fits the themes addressed within the show, and while it reaches for a massive swath of themes that it may or may not fully flesh out, even the surface level execution displays a mastery of detail on the part of David production. Any look deeper only shows the brilliance behind the engineering of the wondrous and contemplative plot of Sagrada Reset.
