The plot
Something I've always found annoying is the plot development over time. In RomCom, Action Harem Anime, there's just a guy who gets all the power and all the girls of the world in the first episode. In Shoujo Anime, you gotta wait the whole series to see a confession and maybe if you're lucky, a kiss. The development in this one is very realistic and I'm sure that's what romantic souls out there have been searching for.
The animation
If you check out some screenshots and teasers, you surely will find the animation quite unique. I would compare it to a movie animation. Actually, the whole setting, the plot and quality of this Anime is very similar to a movie one.
The soundtrack
I'm not much into soundtracks, I'm of the trash who skips openings and endings but in this anime, all the music was beautiful and very fitting into the scenes.
Aspects of originality
As I said, it is very special Romance Anime, that's original itself. But there's more, something that is just so amazing and would make anyone who watches it go "LOL, that's so cool" - it is the fact it's just all so real. The anime is an original work which means there's just a little gap from the initial creation and the release. And especially in this anime, the creators just didn't want to pretend that the characters live in an alternative universe, no, they literally live in 2016. Imagine all the things that were popular and happened in 2016 - you're gonna find them there. This may be a little spoiler but I think it's worth knowing for someone who would consider watching this show. Another very original thing I liked about this one is the little side stories after the ending.
Overall
Heartbreaking show that was wonderful and perfect to the very last second. You just have to watch that and remember your childhood romances.
