However I personally enjoy this show for the mystery aspect of the story and how the beast's came to be. Willem's past is also interesting and his past keeps getting shown throughout the story to give the watcher a more interesting time to think about the plot. The present time of Chtholly and the other girls help support the story but also give the story the main action scenes that we enjoy.
The romance aspect is rather fast paced but I however enjoyed the development of the characters personally. However I don't think this story is focused around romance, but more mystery. Every episode cracks a new thought the original writer gave and give us more and more details of what this world is about.
Overall this is my favorite show this season and like many other great underrated shows after running out of episodes I felt empty and bored.
