Okay going into this anime I gotta say that the story at the beginning amazed me the characters looked interesting and the overall storyline was great . So of course with the ending of the first season i thought that the sec on is bound to clear some things up and give us the development of the characters that was expected . The first thing that annoyed me is the fact that the first 3-4 episodes were overly repetitive the same dialogues and certain ways of thinking were constantly being shown in a way that was just pure irritating . The fact that all of the characters suddenly forgot what happened in ep 25. and the fact that Rin actually made a step in turning his destinies gave off the vibe that something is bound to change in characters perspectives in the second season . The fact that everyone was so stuck on the fact that he is related to Satan made most of the characters look rather irrational .Moreover when we look past the repetitiveness we can see that there were certain things ( at least to me ) that made no sense what so ever . First the main goals and motives of the villain were not explained i feel like the events were wither too rushed or took too long so the key points were lost. I get that the creators wanted to focus on the background stories of other characters then the main once but the character development could only be seen in Suguro and his 2 sidekicks other than that Rin found out that he now can control the flames but other than that he remained the same . In the last episode they present another '' grand enigma plan " which is I guess the material for 3rd season but again the whole point of the series was all in all unclear . I hope that if the creators decide to make the 3rd season they can bring back at least the part of the enthusiasm shown in the first season and finally give some answers as to : What is exactly Yukio ? Rin and the growth of his ( how will he reach the title of paladin ? ) . What is the plan in which Rin is involved ? Vatican's objective ? What is with Satan and why don't the characters at least conceder the Satan's ideal world and so on .
