To put it simply this entire series could be summed up as "Awesome animation Meh Plot and Meh Characters". The fighting sequences are what you should watch this anime for not for it's plot. If you've watched the other Fate Series then should already know this well, however this one in particular has even less plot/story substance than the other series. Although i believe it is on par/slightly surpasses the others in terms of fight sequences. The main Protagonist is okay but he's a bit timid and for the most part a walking contradiction who is very confused about who he is as an individual which at times can be a bit annoying. However he shines when paired with the female lead in this anime as their relationship is essentially the focal point of this anime and where it does its best. The over ending/conclusion of the series was meh, and i feel as though the last episode wasn't necessary and it was fine to end it on the episode before as the final episode was a bit empty and unfulfilling. Overall i give this anime a 7 simply for enjoyment, but if you want something that is very thought provoking with an awesome storyline this isn't for you, this is for the action junkies.
